Policies and Standards
It is the vision of Vanguard College of Cosmetology to provide the highest quality educational training in the field of cosmetology and to encourage the growth of the individual student in the areas of business and professionalism. It is for this reason that Vanguard College of Cosmetology provides standards, policies and procedures. It is our purpose to develop the necessary skills to become proficient in the field of cosmetology to include a strong business-minded approach. Our Policies and Professionals Guidelines will be provided upon enrollment.
Licensing Requirements
Regulated by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology
Cosmetology
* Proof of successful completion of 1500 hours at a registered school of cosmetology
Instructor
* Proof of successful completion of 500 hours of instruction at a registered school of cosmetology
Both programs require taking a written and practical exam administered by the Board.
